Tracking With PFTrack
In this tutorial I show you how easy it is to bring your footage into PFTrack and then quickly take that data into Cinema 4D to begin to add your elements. PFTrack has many of the same features as Boujou and SynthEyes. PFTrack is a very robust program and what I cover in this tutorial only begins to scratch the surface.
If you have any questions let me know.

Hey Brad! Not sure if this is on my end, but the audio goes in and out. Just a heads up. Even without sound its easy to follow along.
Thanks!

Hey dude,
Thanks so much for this tutorial. I’m having a bit of a nightmare with my tracks though…
I’m using Cinema 4D and some 1080/24p footage from my camera.
The track looks great in PFTrack, but then when I match the background and my track data / camera in Cinema 4D, the tracks dont stay in the right place after the first frame.
I’ve googled this and found a guy saying “make sure when previewing the work that you’ve set the camera output aspect to the same as your background plate footage ” … but I have no idea what this is… perhaps my footage is out of sync?
Many thanks,
James

- Solved it .. Make sure that the PFtracker Camera FRAME SIZE is the same
as the FILM ASPECT in “Output” under rendersettings in Cinema4d ..
that should do the trick..
